Easter and the Schedule
The one important part about Easter is that it is not over just because the calendar has flipped past Sunday. Easter is 7-week celebration of the resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ, a joyous time that goes from Easter morning until the Day of Pentecost. Throughout the coming weeks, we will celebrate the meaning of Jesus’ resurrection for our lives, both spiritually and earthly. Join us at Saint Matthew’s for the coming Sundays of joy and hope.
Just to review our church schedule this week:
Following our one day break, Morning Prayer re-started this morning at 7:15 and goes for the rest of the week. Tonight, our Craft Corner will meet at 7pm in Fellowship Hall. Wednesday evening, I have canceled our Midweek service. Our weekend worship services are Saturday at 5pm with our Spoken Divine Service and on Sunday at 10am with our regular Divine Service. Sunday school on Saturday Afternoon begins at 4:30pm; on Sunday at 9:00am.
I will be in and out of the office this morning, working mostly from the home office. This afternoon, I will be working exclusively in the home office.
