Today, by some quirk of the calendar, is a day of meetings. From 9:30am through our Elder’s Meeting at 7pm, my day will be going from one meeting to another. Thankfully, most of these meetings will take place in different settings. For example, our noontime church Vision-Food Pantry-Health Group trifecta meeting is taking place at someone’s home. Our Ladies Aid meeting will take place here at church at 2pm, as will our Elders’ Meeting at 7. However, I have two other meetings, one at 9:30am and 3pm that are held in Hackensack and Rochelle Park.
Tomorrow, I have two meetings – one with Family Promise of Bergen County at 11am in Ridgewood, and, two, at a home here in New Milford discussing the topic of possibly changing where our church purchases electricity and natural gas.
And in between all of this, I have to write a sermon, write up the prayers, go on visits, finalize my weekend newsletter/announcement section article in Saint Matthew’s Matters, find out why we can’t update the Saint Matthew’s Matters page on the website, finalize a new RSS feed/newsletter for this blog, and re-read the New Jersey District’s 2012 Convention Workbook, a copy of which you can download here.
A fun two days!
