Not a Bad Gift to Come Home To

by Rev. A. J. Iovine

Arriving home a very short time ago, I realized two things:

1. I left really, really early today for my cancer treatment — the newspapers were still on the driveway, and;

2. Some angel left me a bottle of chocolate wine on the table in the yard. There was no note and the wine was chilled!

I guess I will have to share this good fortune with those who come to bible class tonight at 7pm.

    Oh, it’s terrific. Tastes like chocolate milk, but with a wine chaser. It really is good. Of course, it’s high in calories, but on Memorial Day weekend (or during bible study on Wednesday night), a little extra caloric intake can’t be that bad.
