Harrison and Holy Week

Over the course of the past several months, I must admit that I have found LCMS President Matthew Harrison’s occasional videos spiritually inspiring. Here is his Holy Week video:

    Pastor Iovine, did you know that the Church Relations Ministry of Christian Health Care Center will hold a Spring Clergy Day for area clergy from 9 am to 12:45 pm, Wednesday, May 4th, in the Christian Health Care Center Auditorium, 301 Sicomac Avenue, Wyckoff? Registration begins at 8:30 and they have a hot buffet luncheon provided. The title of the event is “Looking Up When Everything is Trending Down”. “It is a timely subject which should provide valuable insights for everyone dealing with the challenges of pastoral ministry today.” The speaker will be Rev. Anthony G. Pappas,a pastor for 20 years who is the editor of “The Five Stones” a newsletter about small church ministry. He has authored a book, etc. There is no charge and they would like you to RSVP by Monday m April 24 ti Diane Cioffi at (201) 848-5839 or by e-mail to Christian Health Care Center has been serving the community since 1911, providing a broad scope of mental-health and elder-care programs.
