Peace in the Womb?

by Rev. A. J. Iovine

Driving home today from the city, I got stuck in a little traffic on Route 4. I was driving in the center lane when I noticed the Prius ahead of me with two bumper stickers affixed to its back window. In the lower right hand cormer, was a sticker promoting peace. It said: “Peace Begins in the Womb.” A nice thought.

But the oddity is that on the lower left hand corner was a bumper sticker for Planned Parenthood.

First of all, why anyone would put bumper stickers on a Prius, I don’t know.

Secondly, the weirdness is that the owner of the car didn’t figure out that their bumper stickers didn’t make any sense. I mean, if peace begins in the womb, how in the world is supporting an organization that aborts thousands of innocent children a year from the womb peaceful?

Abortion is the least peaceful thing that can ever occur to a baby in the womb.

Too bad this driver couldn’t figure it out.
