by Rev. A. J. Iovine

I am always thrilled when my planning for Holy Week and the Easter season is complete. Hymns have been selected for Holy Week, Easter, and the entire Easter season. The worship services are just about prepared. And everything should be done by tomorrow.

For the first time in a long time, I am ahead of schedule when it comes to worship planning. Somehow, the laziness that engulfs me at this time of the year went away.

Or as someone I know told me a little while ago — of course, I've stopped being lazy since my chemotherapy treatments wear me out. I am crunching all my work together, forcing me to get it done.

That makes sense.
