1. Snowfall appears, at least according to certain TV weather people, to be in the 6 to 8 inch range here in our part of Northern New Jersey. After going outside for a short bit around 4:30am, I would guess that we New Milford people received closer to the 6.
2. As usual, the immediate streets around Saint Matthew’s are passable. River Road and Boulevard are drivable. Can’t say about most of the side streets, however, since at 4:30 in the morning and with the snow still falling, I wasn’t very adventurous.
3. I am still leaning towards canceling church tonight even though road crews will have an entire day to plow and salt and/or sand (do any of our locals use sand any more?).
